I work solo on small, useful software. Currently out of London.

Ink portrait of ABS Astreon

A study tool that lives in the MacBook notch, a free parking map for motorbikes in London, a security scanner for developers, and a couple of others. Four of them are out in the world. Three more are running on my laptop while I keep working on them.

I design and build everything myself. Click any of the live projects below to read more, or head to the workshop to see what I'm still working on.

Tools I'm using on myself

03 · Studio tools · Local only

Three tools I use every day. Two run my business, one runs my morning. They aren't public yet because I'm still using them on myself. The point is to ship things I rely on, not just things I demo.

Orbit

Personal finance and net worth tracking. I use it to run my own books. Reads transactions straight off bank statements (or photos of paper ones) using OCR, and tells me what I'm actually worth at the end of each month.

Nebula

I run my company on Nebula. Invoices, expenses, banking, contacts, documents. Tells me what my corporation tax is shaping up to be and reminds me when something's overdue. Replaced four separate tools when I switched to it.

Business Ops Documents Reporting Multi-entity
Nebula knowledge base showing UK HMRC allowance and exemption reference cards
Nebula tax calendar showing upcoming HMRC and Companies House deadlines
Nebula documents view with folder tree for year-end records, statements, and monthly invoice folders

Solis

The first thing I look at every morning. Habits, live share prices, my Notion to-dos, a couple of feeds, a quote for the day. Built it because I was opening eight tabs to check the same things, and now I open one.

Solis habits page showing daily completion grids for Duolingo, 10K steps, and meds

Colophon

Set in Fraunces (Undercase Type) and JetBrains Mono. Written by hand in plain HTML with no build step. Hosted on GitHub Pages. The source is open, so help yourself to anything useful.
